    after all the hype ... after all the waiting ... ... finally its here!! 

i went to see it on saturday .. 2 days after its release in Sydney, Australia.

My friend Lisa had booked our tickets 2 weeks ago (actually i think it may even have been 3 weeks ago) and finally saturday morning, i drove down to her place ... and we went off to see the MOST ANTICIPATED MOVIE of 2008 ... !! (actually anticipated for the past 4 years!!) 

... the movie was FANTASTIC !! ... i dont want to give a single thing away ... all i'm going to say, is that i had so much expectations of the movie, and it lived up to all of it !! ---- and thats not an easy feat.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED THE MOVIE !! ... GALS GO AND SEE IT :) :) 
p.s. i'm headed on my big holiday in 2 days !! ... can't wait  :) :) 49 hours to go  :) !!

so ... here i am ... back @ work on a tuesday morning... feels totally like a monday !! ... 
long weekend already completely forgotten about !! ... although it was nice whilst it lasted :) ... but for some reason this morning it was soooo hard to get up !! 

anyway ... here goes the week ... it'll still be like a 5 day week because i have to work on saturday cause we've got a big move on --- woohoo (that is 110% sarcasm) ... tomorrow night (wednesday) i will have to work late, as it is preparation wednesday --- which means we go around to all the teams moving and pre-move anything ready to move ... and my boss put me on for that session ... ... then thursday night i have my new Personal Trainer --- YIPEE :) :) --- that i am really excited about !! ... ... then on friday night i have a concert --- which i do not want to entirely admit i am going to ... but i am still sort-of excited :) :) 

so the long weekend is completely all forgotten about ... all the yummmmy chocolates ! ... the fun that was had @ the easter show ... all over :( :(

so here i go ... i'm doing my first post for 2008 ... and in like 6 months ... ... YIKES has life been all kinds of hectic !! ... 

so here goes ... after a rather large New Years Eve party ... which included ... fireworks galore from my friends amazing home view ... surrounded by lots of friends ... laughs ... way too much alcohol ... but all in all a great start .. (although last years NYE was so sooo much better) ... 
... once i finally got home and recovered i made myself a small list for 2008 !! 

i've finally managed to clear my entire credit card + put a heap of extra $$ on there in preparation for my major 2/3 months trip in the middle of the year ... i'm so completely over the moon excited !! 
... i need to get the nitty gritty all sorted but i'll be going to :
LOS ANGELES ... SAN FRAN ... LAS VEGAS ... (possibly miami / orlando florida) and most importantly .... NEW YORK !! (thats my dream location) ... ... then i shall move onto the UK and stay with my friends and sister in LONDON !! ... YAY!! ... then move onto a couple places around Europe ... and then end my trip with a short stop in THAILAND... YIKES !! ... thats intense ... but over the moon exciting !! ... 

so thats that ... on top of that ... i'm going to try and get much much more involved in my workplace, so i can get more of my own projects and more involved in design work ... YAY ME !! ... 

other then that ... i've been going to the gym @ least 5 times a week which i'm so proud of .... i sweat my ass off ... and i'm trying to lose my ass @ the same time ... (Hehe) ... but i'm having a blast going !! ... and as i've bought myself a nice gym membership ... i'm going to continue to go as often as my little asthmatic body can handle it !!

and somewhere along the way i'm going to start looking @ finding myself a guy !! ... ... ... i've got some pre-requisets but nothing too unreasonable ... i think (hehehe) ... 

so ... WELCOME TO 2008 !! ... ... here's to a great year ahead !!

so ... here i am working away ... after spending all of yesturday out on-a-site and measuring and recording and learning lots of interesting new things !! 

anywho - a few weeks ago (more like a month maybe) my sister got me to sign up to facebook - its a weird website --- but i was wondering if anyone on my LJ has also heard of facebook - or is on it ... ???

back to work ... only like 40 minutes to go !!

so here i am on a lovely sunday morning / afternoon ... hungry as all hell (as i'd very barely eaten in like 2 days + there is nothing at home since my darned biddy-o-pal ate everything in sight!!) ...  sitting out in my backyard with my laptop, getting some sun and putting things on ebay ... 

over the last year i've become quite the ebaying expert - and i've come to very much enjoy my money making venture - so much so, that i've got numerous friends that have asked me to sell their items too !! (which is so much fun!!) ... so for the 5 minutes it takes me to take a photo of the item - list it (sometimes get some internet information), sell the item and then post or get the item picked up i make a small commission!! - it's GREAT!!

so today i listed some more items - nothing too riveting, but i'm getting rid of some of my wardrobe (starting with things that i've gotten as gifts and really dont want) ...

i also posted a couple of my housemates tops + a couple CD towers for a friend of mine who is dying to get rid of them ...

i just thought this was cute ... i had a crappy day @ work ... long hot afternoon ... waiting for the weather to decide weather to piss down .. or drastically heat up for the weekend!!

I MISS BUFFY !! !! ...

i used to be such a buffy fan ... i miss the slaying ... the vampires ... and the funny slayer-isms ... it was just one of those shows that was totally unrealistic, where anything and everything happened ... an infinite number of attempts of world domination ... saving the world ... etc etc ... some pretty cute vampires ... some hilarious plot lines ... the show just seemed to tick ... (well it did for me anyway) 

to this day there is one episode of buffy that'll make me cry ... i've seen in infinite number of times and probably for ever it'll make me cry (i am still a girl - so its allowed) ... anyway ... its the final episode in season 2 (for those playing @ home) ... the episode where buffy has to make the quick decision to kill her beloved Angel (HELLO HOT-STUFF) ... the sarah maclachlan song comes on ... and buffy's whole life changes (which i can understand more now than ever before - to a weird-certain extent) ... i wont give you the whole plot line ... but thats one of my weaknesses ... my dad'll make fun of me for all eternity for seeing me watch this episode x amount of times and that i can cry over a tv show, especially one as "documentary" quality as buffy (he's joking obviously) ...

... ... last week in my building they were handing out FREE lindt chocolates YUM YUM YUM ... so me being the typical freebie-loving-person ... decided to get as many chocies as i could ... (which i succeeded excellently ... ) ... ... with each chocy i was given a piece of paper ... on it all i saw was the word "FREE..." (it said a stack of other stuff but ... i thought PFFT ... i'll read it later) ..

so today i decide to actually investigate this small piece of paper and the reason for the free chocies (that have now mysteriously disappeared ... OOPS! ... just kidding ... i bought most of them home and my housemate and some of our friends ate them) ... ... ... anywho ... so the piece of paper said that there is a new lindt store @ cockle bay right behind my building ... which is probably the best and worst news EVER ... ... its like YUM YUM YUM ... but NO NO NO !! ... ... and to make the situation a little worse (for my body) ... if i wondered down to the store with this little piece of paper i will recieve 1 x free lindt chocy biscuit ... YAY !! .. ... but as one does ... lunchtime today i wondered down ... got my freebie and took it back to work ... and decided ...
